Awesome place with great amenities like free wi-fi, a seasonal outdoor pool, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me with evening plans during my first stay, nice. I'm excited to come back for Christmas!

They have a wonderful restaurant and a veranda where you could sit outside and have breakfast served to you....which most guests did.

Location was great! The included breakfast (which can be delivered to the room) was a nice touch (and tasted good). Valet parking included.

Walking up to a 3rd floor room may be difficult for some.

The warm atmosphere, the excellent restaurant and the overall satisfaction makes it a must. Strongly recommend for a romantic gateway in Cape May!

The Virginia And Cottages radiate elegance with their beautifully appointed rooms, all impeccably clean and infused with a charming atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the convenient location just a short stroll to the beach.

Early check-in, well-appointed and beautifully decorated rooms with a fire place. A wide range of options, awesome food. Good location, minutes from Cape May Rotary Park. Excellent staff at all times.

Loved the beach service with lounge chairs set up for us! The cozy atmosphere and easy bike rentals were highlights of our stay.

It's a beautiful hotel in the heart of Cape May. The option of having one's breakfast on the veranda or in the ground-floor parlor with fireplace is a major plus, and the breakfast was excellent. We also liked the restaurant within the hotel very much.

There is, quite amazingly, no network TV; there are only cable channels. Also, although the staff was quite helpful and friendly over-all, the woman at the reception desk when we arrived (3 p.m. Sunday, October 21st) was chilly; she performed her job but was in no way welcoming.

The Standard King Room was cozy and super clean. The shower was fantastic and the beds were super comfy. We loved that breakfast was served right on time every morning-so nice! Plus, the communication from the staff via email was really helpful. No negatives to mention about the room itself. It had everything we needed for a great stay.

The restaurant is good. However they dont serve breakfast until 8 which was too late for me since I was a business traveler.

Everything was wonderful during our stay at the Virginia Hotel: the desk clerk was a kind and amazingly professional young man; the room was absolutely beautiful; the breakfast was delightfully delicious; the valet service was outstanding, and every person we met there was friendly and most helpful. The ocean is only a block away and is gorgeous! I fell in love with being there and cannot wait to go back again!

The room was gorgeous, and breakfast delivered to our door was a highlight. We enjoyed relaxing at the beach and exploring local shops. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Perfect spot for a fun getaway!
